Tomb of Aelfhworht

This tomb was discovered during the Expedition into Aelfhworht's Tomb. It was in the center of the winter-storm which was covering large parts of the Rampart Hills. During this, the adventurers found out that some leader of an army, which had invaded these lands a long time ago had been buried here.

This is also the place where the second encounter with The Bringer of Decay took place. After the concealment spell was lifted by Furak The Nomad, he was able to find the tomb and struck a deal with the adventurers.

In exchange for their lives, they would go into the grave and recover a small stick, which seemed very important to the old man.

Purpose / Function

A number of safety measures were put in place to keep anybody from entering the tomb, all of which the party was able to overcome after Furak The Nomad was judged by the Obelisk of the Iriad Defenders. The party thought it was protecting something.
