Mitruval of Orlewynd is a Vedalken, meaning he is very tall, very blue, and very hairless, although he also boasts piercing green eyes that stand out from others of his people. He likes to wear a finely made suit with a dark turquoise hue, and pink glasses. But most importantly, he is of a free spirit and loves change.
While in the field his most notable pieces of equipment are his two artifacts; Arrora the Astral Render — a scythe-like glaive cloaked in stars and gleaming iridescent metal that was reclaimed from a cult of undeath, and the legendary Construct Armor — a mighty suit of plate that confers incredible defenses upon its wearer at the cost of rendering him impervious to healing magic. With these artifacts in hand, Mitruval gains the ability to carve through anything and everything regardless of its make or toughness, and incredible strength and defense.
Mitruval began his adventuring career balancing a basic understanding of battle smithing combined with a heavy focus on martial training as an eldritch knight, but that focus shifted quickly when a Wish spell gone awry replaced his fighting skill with a complete understanding of artifice. Regardless, at his core he is an artist, appreciating everything from painting, to quips in the midst of combat, to writing novels. As a member of the Damned Chime, he is best known throughout the Realm of Gylidd for his cleansing of the Dungeon of Graves, and defeat of The Master, a former Inaethri of chaos, evil, and undeath.
After the Master's defeat in Kethra 3518 AI / 0 AE, Mitruval aided Vai'len'thala of Hyalma in seeking out the last known pieces of the Shrike of Hsira's campaign of blackmail, liberating hundreds of souls from their service to the newly ascended Inaethri of Undeath. The Vedalken hero then traveled the world to spread the word about what had happened in Gylidd, sharing first-hand knowledge and artifacts to museums throughout the Realms to ensure that the Master's ilk may never rise again.
Mitruval then served 25 years as a Commander in the Gylidder Navy, leading a platoon of highly specialized and decorated soldiers responsible for special operations. Though he never had an opportunity for promotion to the Captaincy or Admiralty, in 27 AE he joined Halxion Evanolan's campaign for the position of Advocate of Gylidd, offering to serve the Realm as the Civic Synod's Commander of the Guard, and has been in this position for decades since.
