Vedalken

Vedalken commonly are tall and slender, standing almost a head taller than humans on average but weighing about the same. Their hairless skin comes in a range of shades of blue. Their eyes are darker shades of blue or violet. They lack external ears, their noses are broad and fiat, and they are partially amphibious.

One of the Welcomed: Eslaiqeza has a large population of those who have come in from otherlands to find a new home within its borders. Coming from all over Myzelis, anyone can find a niche for themselves within the large stretches of land, the huge cities, and deep forests of Eslaiqeza.

Gylidder Vedalken

Scholars of Tempest Sound: Hangorfeydd, in the shadow of the colossal mountain Arddachwyr, is built around a wide split of water the artificers call "Tempest Sound" after the rolling, thunderous echoes of industry cast over its depths by the sheer face of the stone pinnacle. All along its docks are hundreds of homes split between air and water, inhabited by a species of blue, sagely humanoids long abandoned and forgotten by their creators, a dead Inaethric pantheon also responsible for creating the Hybrid/Adapted (Simic Hybrids). The vedalken of Gylidd have carried on regardless, turning their faith to other Inaethri that share their appreciation for precision, patience, and curiosity, while also offering their services to Gylidd Syn Aethri as dauntless entrepreneurs and inquisitive craftspeople. They know that Gylidd lies at the heart of Myzelis' trade, and that Hangorfeydd is uniquely positioned to remain at the cutting edge of mystery, artistry, and arcanum. Administrator Lysaus Hozaek, an artificer and professor at the Vault of Echoes - a prestigious, state-funded academy of advanced technological pursuits - coordinates a great deal of the Hangorfeydd vedalkens' efforts in craft, research, and trade, and also represents his people's district in the Gyliddring.
