After resting in the abandoned warehouse, the group woke up the next morning to collect themselves. Chris explained to them that this was his fault. He had walked in on his brother having a strange meeting. The word 'Mythos' and 'Conspiracy' were thrown around a lot. He didn't hear a lot but it was apparently enough to have him silenced   Upon hearing this though, Akane's first thought was her parents and she rushed out despite Maya's insistence otherwise. Chris thinks it would be better to leave her instead and focus on finding out what's happened to them but is forced to relent when Maya persues her   When they arrive, the tension can be felt in the air. Akane is shouting at her parents, begging with them and insisting that they need to leave. Chris even tried to explain that it's pointless as Alistair would find them no matter where they went but she wouldn't listen. This is cut off though by gunfire and the group instinctively transform once again. The attacker was the same armed men from the lab and a boy with a dragon tattoo on his cheek. Akane's parents were shocked to see their nephew...Haruto. Making a wall of ice to buy time, the group rushed through the streets of Brooklyn and escaped on the subway back and retreat to the hideout. In the end while they don't like it, Akane's parents agree to leave but not before telling her about her cousin
