Each person will, barring accident or malice, live to orbit the Sun 100 times, No more and No Less
The people of Astropor, regardless of ancestry or faith live lives free of disease and sickness to the age of 100 years, at which point they prepare themselves for the ritual known as the Zenith, whereby their physical forms become starlight and ascend to the heavens. The notable exception to this are the Witnesses who often live to be 5 or 6 centuries old before passing away, and being interred below the Hall of Echoes.
