Communication stones are another curious invention by inventor Horus Macklebee's own son, Rainu Macklebee. Rainu Macklebee discovered in 2207 Third Age that each person throughout the world has their own particular wavelength. He decided to utilize this fact, use specially designed crystals to tap into each person's unique mystia wavelength in order to allow them to communicate over vast distances. Today, communication stones are used all over the world. They have almost wiped out the now, sadly, lost art of letter writing.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

This polished smooth black quartz stone works in some ways like a crystal ball, except it allows for communication over large distances. Both the sender and recipient need to have one. When used, the image of the recipient appears over the stone as the image of the sender appears over the recipient's stone, which then allows for communication.
Activate: 1 minute (command, envision, interact Frequency: Once per hour; Effect: The stone casts Message to your recipient. When the Recipient responds, the sender and recipient's images appear to one another and they may then communicate as though they were in the same room, even miles apart.
