The Myranesians is the term for those who come or live on Myranelynia. This includes The Eartheins , The Fountanians , and TheCloudaions , but it does not include the [Sea Crosser
Naming Traditions
Family names
Both family names and given names generally derive from nature in one instance or another, though it can be different based on the kingdom. A few noticeable family names of Myranelynia includes the Rose Family, the Diamond Family, the Aspirates Family, the Athean Family, and the Bluteng Family
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Myraneise is the language all three kingdoms speak (and a few in the Sea Crossers' Settlement). Some do speak other languages from other islands to barter trade, and even fewer speak languages the Sea Crossers speak.
Common Etiquette rules
The Myraneisean refer to each other by their occupation/title/status rather than their personal name. the exception to this is if there is more than one of the same occupation (i.e., two smithies instead of one) or if the individual in question has given verbal consent to having someone call them by name.
Common Dress code
The dress of the people here is rather modest. Showing skin other than arms and calves is considered immodest. Some females do wear tops revealing some of their breasts and males may wear low cut tops as well, but this kind of clothing is hardly worn.
Art & Architecture
Theater and plays are one of the biggest art genres in Myranelynia. Whether happening on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis, there's always some sort of play or drama being performed, people stopping their lives to watch these events. Since stories and books, in general, are considered valuable, there are scribes who either write down the stories of others or write their own stories.
Architecture materials vary from kingdom to kingdom, but nearly all of them are either brightly colorful or plain white. In most of Earthein and Cloudiaon, they have glass panes for windows and a door, but Fountania and a bit of Earthein do not have doors, sometimes having something draped over the doorway, and holes in the walls to serve as 'windows'.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Myranelynia Week is a holiday tradition everyone follows. Another is the Rain and Harvest Week, mainly done by Eartheins and Cloudiaons, but Fountanians participate when the delicacy is made from the floyote vegetable. Other holidays and traditions vary by the kingdom.
Coming of Age Rites
Yearly celebrations of days of births do not happen regularly in Myranelynia. Birthday celebrations are celebrated for royalty, and a few families practice it as well, but many people do not celebrate that occasion.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Funerals are done in a cremation style. Since fire is considered cursed and a sign of death, they use it only for the dead or cursed, setting the corpse ablaze and burning it to ashes. Ashes are put into a small container and either the family of the deceased keeps it or if they had no family, it's placed in a memorial building, specifically to hold the ashes of the deceased. There is one in each kingdom, with their way of remembering who each one is.
Common Taboos
Unless they are related, close friends, or married, they are not allowed to touch anyone else, especially the opposite gender. 'Finger gunning' is considered a lewd gesture. Picking a lily flower. Eating a fish in front of a Fountanian.

The Four Brothers, Raen, Grine, Ward, and Ocous; Cham, the one who built the tower; King Cordata of Earthein, Queen Avala of Cloudiaon and Leader Rayne of Fountania fought in the War of the Islands
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Considering most of the people have darker skin, the darker the skin, the more beautiful the person. In Cloudiaon and Earthein, having natural colored hair is considered beautiful, but in Fountania, coloring hair is widespread and what is beautiful. Tattoos are also beautiful in Fountania, while freckles and similar skin marks are beautiful in Earthein, and having clear, smooth skin is beautiful in Cloudiaon.
Gender Ideals
While some things do vary by the kingdom, generally the men work and earn income and protect his family from any strife, while women cook and prepare food and ensure her family is well taken care of. Women can work and men can stay to take care of the family, but the previously mentioned example is how things generally go.
Courtship Ideals
Both arranged and independent marriages happen in Myranelynia. For arranged, if a man or woman is ready to marry, their parents will find a suitable spouse for them and they will spend 4 to 7 months, depending on the kingdom, to know the person and to determine if they truly want to marry that person. They can reject the choice, but depending on family and situation, they may have to comply with the marriage regardless of opinion. With independent marriages, a person can pursue the person they have an interest in, with the permission of parents depending on the kingdom. Depending on the interest of both of them, a courtship period can last 4 months to 3 years, generally in between. Again, depending on kingdom, the two require the permission of parents but there are cases of couples marrying without permission, resulting in family turmoil.
Relationship Ideals
Friendships and comrades are the most common non-romantic or familial relationships in Myranelynia. Friendships can form between two people of the same gender or the opposite gender. With families, in Cloudiaon and most of Earthein, families live together multi-generational, while most of Fountania and a bit of Earthein have their children move out once they become of age. Romance is generally saved for marriage, and only given to someone with the intent of marriage. While a man or woman may flirt with someone without any commitment intention, it's expected they do so if they intend to, at least, seriously consider marrying them.
