Toran royal family
Royal house that established and still rules Tor. Legend has it they are either descended from Kord or blessed by him, and they certainly have not lived down that rumor. For ages, the Toran royal line have set out as youthful princes and princesses, and returned home after many journeys with pride, glory, and the love of their people as heroes. The world at large both respect and fear the rulers of Tor, but there is a saying across Myrandria: "When the world needs a hero, the lord of Tor will stand and protect those that cannot." History can generally be written by the victor, but many in this life have witnessed it first-hand. 17 years ago, Crown Prince Luka stood up against an ancient evil plaguing several continents. He fought alongside heroes from other nations and walks of life, stopped a deadly plot and returned home a champion. This is the true lifeblood of what makes Tor strong. The royal line is not simply a birthright: It is not given, but earned.
The Toran royal family are not always viewed as heroes, however. Tor has a long, sorted history of waging war after war. At one point, an emperor of a time long past attempted to conquer the world. This failed, luckily, due to the elven nation of Eladriel entering the war after being provoked by an overeager prince, desiring to claim heirship from the crown prince, his elder brother. The empire began to struggle against the armies from the armies of the Masaran continent, the brutal tribes of the Sheikar Badlands, and the incredible power of the magic prowess of the Torelyn Wildlands. A ceasefire was reached, and since then, the royal family has been very cautious regarding largescale warfare.

Kaiser Alexander Torin (age 53): The current kaiser (emperor) of Tor, is a warrior without peer. He is a man that is known to have single-handedly bested entire armies. Rumors abound of his prowess doing battle with an ancient god, beings from the abyss, and having fought his way through the hells to rescue an ally. His presence commands respect, even among his enemies, and is regarded as a ruggedly handsome man of short blond hair, and a tall and lean yet muscular physique. He is known for having never smiled in the presence of strangers. Crown Prince Luka Torin (age 35): . -Prince Lucas Torin: Son of Crown Prince Luka, this youth has rather large shoes to fill in the eyes of his people, and likely the rest of the world. Both his father and grandfather (the emperor) are heroes of great renown.
