Mirn Taruhm
Established over two thousand years ago, it has been ruled by the Ironfist clan ever since the migration of dwarves to the Velvet Summit mountain range, this city has always thrived on isolation. They traded rarely with those outside of their race, and regarded all non-dwarves with suspicion. Although the city is quite the stronghold, it has never been attacked by a large force, thus their preparedness for war has never been tested. The city itself is large but very utilitarian, with simple yet effective architecture in most places. The rulers of the city have kept a tight grip on control and immigration, as they detest the influence of other races on their way of life. While the rulers may seem arrogant to outsiders, the population knows they mean only the best for their kin. Life in this is city is dull by day, but a ruckus at night. When not focusing on their work, the denizens of this passionate city plan all sorts of events for revelry and entertainment.
There is a large population of elves that live within this city, which is highly unusual for a dwarven settlement. Here, loud and boisterous dwarves mingle with their more reserved elven counterparts day and night. Many work together and, somehow, even more drink together. This city is known for its ability and history of creating powerful magical armaments.
