Elden Timbers
Head Archivist Elden Leslie Timbers (a.k.a. Father Cosmic)
Elden Timbers is a gnomish wizard. He is one of the founders, and current Head Archivist of the Atheneum, a massive library situated in Kar Thorum. He is also a member of the Order of the Violet Iris, a magical fraternity dedicated to the sharing and preserving of information.

Personal history
Born in the Akrillian League, Elden discovered his knack for magic at a young age. Hoping to avoid the endless conflicts of the warring city-states, Elden fled to the newly formed nation of Zentrum and quickly becamean apprentice to Emhyr Vritannis, the first Master of Arcana and one of the Nine Heroes. He would then dedicate the rest of his life to the study of magic and the arcane. It was also at this time that he joined the Order of the Violet Iris.
A gifted conservator, and lifelong mana scholar, Elden currently serves as a Mage Emeritus for both the Fullbrought University and the Pfeiffer University, frequently giving guest lectures to the latter. Currently, he spends most of his days studying planar alignments, and advancing Dunamancy, a fledgling school of magic he developed with his compatriot, Lorelei K. Elviram. His cosmological model, the Timbers model, is the current framework for how most arcane practitioners understand the cosmology of the known universe. An eccentric man, Elden has been nominated for the position of Master of Arcana for the Kingdom of Zentrum countless times, and yet he has consistently turned it down, preferring to work as Head Archivist of the Atheneum, an institution that he holds near and dear to his heart. He is still willing to attend meetings once in a while, offering his insights on matters he specializes in.

Elden is married to Tana Nulgras, an archeomancer for the Pfieffer University, and has 7 children; Lorie, Elanda, Warryn, Donella, Kellen, Valnessa, and Traval.
Relationships
History
Lorelei and Elden met a number of years ago. Both had coincidentally developed arcane theories about utilizing potential energies in the universe. They decided to converge their studies and thus Dunamancy was born in the world of Mundus. Elden thinks the world of Lorelei, seeing her as a contemporary unlike any other and a marvel of the arcane world. Not much is known about Lorelei's relationship with Elden. At the very least, it is clear that she respects Elden as a peer, but there doesn't seem to be much more familiarity on her end.

Both of them have conducted research with Luka Fulgran. They both maintain positive relationships with members of the Order of the Violet Iris as well.
