Southern Wilds

The Southern Wilds are a heavily wooded area situated in The Wilds. It is flanked by the Talon Mountains and the realm of Orsinium. Primeval forests stretch through this region making passage extremely hard. 
The Southern Wilds used to house many tribes of Orcs that travelled through its land or settled semi-permanently. They usually lived from hunting. This changed when during the Wild Hunt vast numbers of Beastmen entered the region from the plane of Hircine. They fought a long war with the Orsinians and The Night's Watch, routing most orc tribes in the onslaught. During this war the only settlement within the region, Cape Lund, was destroyed.
