The cult of the White Flame
The cult of the white flame started around 299536 SE, but gained massive popularity through Princess Aurelia's campaign during the Demon wars, after the end of the war Gustavus Adolphus, the first Emperor, made it the official religion of his Empire, known now as The Empire of the White Flame.
The idea of the White Flame is much older than the cult, there have always been the three flames since the war between the gods and titans at the beginning of time itself, and so worship of the white flame is older than the mortal races, but the modern cult associated a new Goddess to the White Flame, the White Flame has always symbolized purity and order, and anything vaguely celestial.
The Church of the White Flame is the biggest organization following the cult, and it's considered the orthodox faith, but many interpretations of the cult do exist some are considered heresy by the church and others are considered misguided.
All interpretations of the cult agree on these dogmas: 1) the soul is eternal the body is temporary 2) the White Flame represents purity 3) the Black Abyssal Flame is the antagonist of the White Flame and therefore the Enemy 4) Pure actions can cleanse the soul 5) It is the duty of the followers of the White Flame to save those that can be saved and burn those who can't.
The Church of the White Flame
Founded with The Empire of The White Flame the church is the largest religious organization in Ishar and probably all of Mundus (depending if one considers the Cult of the Dragon Emperor as a unified faith or two separated ones). The church though being the official state religion in the Empire still permits practices of other religions as long as no abyssal entities are worshipped, also the church maintains that all other deities serve the Goddes and that their Goddes is atop every other accepted pantheon. The church also maintains a list of races blessed by the Goddess that are not to be enslaved and to be treated with adequate respect, humans are above all, then dwarves, halflings, gnomes, grey orcs, goliaths, and leonin finally half-elves and tiefling are considered corrupted human to be redeemed through service to the Goddess and forbidden to reproduce. The church owns no building or territory in the Empire but leases them from the relevant kingdom, the leases are almost always renewed for a cheap price so their territories are de facto permanent. Their main temple is in Lowengrube where the church controls a third of the city, the old draconic district, including the massive draconic palace atop the third hill of the city now remodeled in honor of their Goddess. The militant arm of the Church is the Inquisition, whose job is to search and eliminate heretics hidden in the Empire.
