Reticent Feather <SC-B2>
A mind twisted by consuming darkness and pulled from the brink by a Siren's song. It's been shown the light again, but one threat still looms undeterred.
-I'll... adjust eventually. Can't be much worse than getting control back and finding I have wings.- She looks down at her hands, -... And claws, those are annoyingly new.-Her response to someone saying her imminent newfound freedom may be terrifying to adjust to, while she was enjoying what she thought would be her last moment of it.

Personal Mindscape
The surface level of Reticent's mind is a barren wall with a door with faint, unpleasant whispers emerging from it. Trying to follow the wall results in one of those mind-bendy loops where it doesn't feel like you're going in a circle but you end up back where you started. Walking away from the wall allows intruders to leave.Generally, leaving is a much better idea than going through the whispering door.
Opening the door the whispers get louder though the space beyond is dark and empty until ventured in. Slowly the scenery fades into the dim, flesh-and-blood nightmare sewers beneath Dark Astoria. Mot's power appears to run rampant, and the whispers are loud enough they're hard to 36ignore. Intruders are not welcome and will have to navigate a changing, fleshy maze that may very well try to eat them.
If, for whatever reason, someone continues to wander they will find scattered memory fragments that were left in the mess. Even finding a door that leads to a small, blank room.
They may even locate the small garden-esque area she's created recently. An open space with stone tile walkways over grass forming an overlapping-diamond shape. A stone-plate walkway runns diagnelly through the narrowest stretch divides the grass into two patches. Torches rest in holders on the walls and in stands on the floor for lighting, and a light fog hangs over the whole area. The only plants other than grass being small, red-stemmed bushes with green leaves and white rose-like flowers edging parts of the walkway. Two shimmering pools of water rest roughly centered in the grassy areas, and four small round pedastels sit on either side of the diagnal-running path.
Physical Description
Body Features
To those familiar with her counterpart Silent Eyes, seeing her with wings is likely to be the most shocking thing. Large, feathered wings of black with a wine red-pink trim on the lower edge, reminiscent of the Talons of Vengeance.
There are also the less visible black scales that cover much of her body, they reflect little light, smooth surfaces with sharp edges. They function as decent natural armor, though she doesn't know how others will respond to seeing them.
And the most recent change... her nails are rather clawlike now.

Special abilities
A naturally powerful psychic. Though her magic... 'gifts' from the Furies, and formerly even Mot.
Her psionics are capable of considerable range, peircing dimensional barriers with minimal strain, and broadcasting to many within a short range. In combat she uses it at shorter ranges to alarming efficeancy. Rending minds to peices, or draining them to recover energy and heal faster. Those who venture near her will find a confusing aura trying to twist their minds to the favor of her or the Talons. Causing pain at best and turning them on their allies at worse.
Her magic is dark and twisted. Bolts of death magic are what she uses for more range. And this too, can be used to siphon life from a victim to heal her. Or unleash devestating bursts of destruction.
Alongside all of this, she can also fly on her own wings, or with magic. As well as teleport short distances instantly. Something she uses to close the gap on foes before ripping their minds to shreds. She can also hide her pressence from others, effectively turning invisible for anyone that isn't looking for 'too normal'.
Incarnate:
She is... very nearly an incarnate again. Though luckily the Mot influence is no more, the Talons is still there.

Specialized Equipment
Armor
Worn Incarnate SuitReti retains her old Incarnate suit, though one almost wouldn't recognize her by its new appearance. The once bright purple that contrasted the black are faded and worn, the silver components gone altogether.
Her face is usually left exposed under the hood, mask that often covered the lower half of her face kept down. The visor, linked to her incarnate powers and the suit, is lifted off her eyes so her sight is unobscured. Though she doesn't need her eyes to be aware of exactly what's around her.
Her shoulder pads, gloves, belt, and boots have long been abandoned and replaced. Now she has arm wraps covering her forearms and most of her hands but leaving her fingers and thumbs exposed. Not tight enough to hinder her wrists' movement when spellcasting, though still giving some protection and support. Though they've never matched and their darkened colors are faded, purple on the left, pinkish on the right.
Her shoulder pads were replaced by two pairs of slimmer metal plates, similar in color to her arm wraps. They provide a bit of protection while being lightweight and streamlined for flight.
Her belt has been replaced by a light leather guard around her lower torso, accompanied by a different belt that carries a thin cape of black and pinkish-purple.
Her boots are now also Talon armor. The main plate covering her lower legs, almost coming up to her knees. While a lower piece covers her feet, toe sharpened and ending in a slight hook. Sometimes they tap the ground as she steps.
Her aura has been corrupted by her new sources of power. The small jets of lavender light off her gloves and boots are gone. Replaced by a redish, smoke-like substance rising from her fists, frequently accompanied by orbs of twisted death magic held in her hands.
The suit's cape is also gone, making room for her wings.
Other
Feather TalismanResting on a simple thread around her neck is a talisman made from one of her own feathers and a few rune etched beads. This allows her to 'store' her wings as a cape of feathers, if she presses them to her back the right way. Turning them back is also simple.

Personal history
Reti is a version of Silent Eyes that, while she managed to become an incarnate, didn't make it through Dark Astoria without succumbing to the forces there. She's been twisted into a member of the Talons of Vengence, and Mot's taint still clings heavily to her. Her memories have been greatly twisted, she doesn't remember clearly who she was anymore, only what she is now. Time will tell if what remains of her original personality can be recovered without killing her outright.
Reticent had been targetted by Malta and, unlike Silent's timeline, didn't have enough allies to prevent her capture. Malta almost succeeded in turning her into a weapon they could command, only stopped by a narrow rescue.
Her psionic control was left heavily damaged, contact prompts a psychic link strong enough she's pretty easily read. The aura in the air around her is weaker but has a similiar effect when it's unrestrained. Focus was a nightmare to relearn for a long time.
Reti was nudged into becoming a hero, in hopes that would give an edge of protection from Malta's continued efforts to capture her. It was... Not the best going effort, but it was an effort she was able to stick with, as long as she didn't work alone. It worked, mostly.
When her dimension's Mot awakened... She thought she might be able to help against it. Some of the people she'd been working with had gone in without her...
Unfortunately, between her will being weakened, and how wronged she felt from so much of what had happened, she was easy prey for both Mot and the Talons of Vengence. She should have never gone in there.
A psychic as powerful as she is, with the power and influence of Mot and the Talons both... was not a good thing for her dimension.
How she ended up on Primal Earth is still unknown, possibly something Talon-related, or related to what happened to her home dimension. Whatever it was, it left her with little memory of what had happened previously. Those memories slowly returned and with them her power, but also the control of the Talons and Mot. She couldn't fight them.
But she was lucky enough to meet someone who could help her, though not in the way originally thought. She's got enough strength back Mot has been banished from her mind. The battle against the Talons' influence is ongoing...

Personality Characteristics
Motivation
COMPLICATED.
Though, due to recent events, less so than previously.
Now that the relatively sane part of her is freed from hiding from the Talons and Mot her true self, or what's left of it, can show itself. She still has Talon instincts tugging at her mind however, and wants those gone to regain the last of her freedom.
