The Icepeak Hull Breakers

Ships bearing pirate flags do not brave the glacial straights of Icepeak falls, for fear of the dwarven soldiers who guard them known as the The Ice Peak Hull Breakers.   Long ago, pirates raided the Icepeak Falls constantly. In fact, they plagued most of the world until, the great dwarven inventor, Tomar Thunderstrike witnessed the tragedy, of the avalanche of 1178, through this tragedy an idea was born. If the dwarves could harness the destructive power of the glaciers, pirates would never again threaten their homeland. That dwarf did what he did best working constructing massive chains, with intense load bearing quick release shackles. With monumental effort from as many working hands they could find, the dwarves hauled these massive chains. So they stretched from the tops of the mountainous glaciers. Fastening the chains from peak to peak, a pulley system was introduced, one with the strength to haul dangerously large shards of mountainous glaciers. These shards now loom ominously over the center of the the frigid glacial straights.   The Icepeak Hull Breakers are so lethal, no ship has ever survived a direct hit. Even a miss will sink most vessels as the deluge of frigid water capsizes them. Those that survive miraculously, now must contend with the loss of the crew from the frigid shock of the water. The lucky ones, now suffering from hypothermia and the looming threat of capsizing due ice build up on their now drenched vessel.   Operation of these contraptions is not without risks for in order to drop the massive ice shards, the bravest of dwarves must climb over this chain clinging to the frozen metal as the wind freezes his beard to to his face. He will need to manually break the latch holding the Ice shard while timing the drop to hit the target bellow. The other members of the Guard, the strongest of dwaves, work the pulley system to position the shard to land as close to the ship as they can.   For many years pirates sailed to their doom, attempting the glacial straights of Icepeak Falls. No survivors ever lived to tell the tale of how lethal the Dwarves new contraptions were.   43 Vessels rest at the bottom of the glacial straights of Icepeak Falls undisturbed. Sages have eluded to the vast fortune that lay in such an irretrievable location one that rivals the most powerful of dragon hoards.

Great article! If you don't mind some feedback I would like to suggest the use of some headers to break up the text and make it more readable. I would also love to read a quote from one of the dwarves, and one from the pirates. Just something that adds some spice to the article. :D

Of course. Take your time. You can't learn everything at once! :) By the way, I noticed I forgot to mention I love the ranged weapon!
