Semargl
Semargl, the Chained Hound, is a Prime Deity of the Renegades' Pantheon, having joined it after his corruption by the Black Sun. Before he was known as the messenger of Creators, a guardian of the innocent, cattle and crops. Nowadays, he's the god of pain, violent rebellion and patron of outlaw activity.
Many outlaws, revolutionaries, angry mobs and anti-government groups pray to him, asking for his protection and guidance. Those, who wish to punish their offenders and instil revenge on them also ask for his patronage. Another group of his followers consists of renegade wolfaren tribes, that left the church of Dzevana and Veles, some monstrous races and of werewolfs.

Worship
The church of the Chained Hound doesn't have a constant big following, gaining popularity only in times of social unrest, though the Chained Hound is quite popular among anarchy groups of the Lawless Valley. The sanctuaries of the Hound are often based in basements, catacombs of big cities and secret passages under villages.
Many followers of Semargl almost always have a deep resentment towards Dazhbog and his church, as, by the legends, it is believed that the Sunseeker left his companion chained to the Polaris, when Semargl, blinded by the Black Sun, started attacking other gods, not knowing who is a friend, and who is a foe. Another stumbling-stone is the idea of Dazhbog church, that there can be unity and understanding between different social classes, when most of the Semargl followers are those of the lower class or were seriously harmed by the nobility.

Considering that Semargl is a patron of violent revolutions and a god corrupted by Temriaz influence, his church is officially banned on the Sarmatan continent, making it illegal to as much as use his name in the old rites and traditions. Though, some communities of Sarmarian Republic, specifically in smaller towns and villagers, can honour him by old traditions as a guardian of cattle and crops, praying for his well-being and eventual return to the Creators.
In is a common belief among different societies, that the day the Chained Hound breaks free from his binds, is the day the new, last war between Gods begins. The Semargl meant to swallow the sun, freeing the place for the Temriaz, the Black Sun, and plunge the world into eternal darkness.
Holidays
Church of the Chained Hound doesn't have any official holidays or celebrations, dedicated to their god. The only celebrations that the Hound might be remembered in, are Prosinets (the official revival of the Sun, when before the Rupture, Semargl would accompany Dazhbog across the skies, sending first warmth on the winter lands) and on Spozhinki (as it was a day, when people thanked both Dazhbog and Semargl for their help in the harvest).
Though not as a holiday, the night from 11 to 12 Zhnyvets, or Fires of the Hound, is a day of remembrance of Semargl's tragic story, as it is believed that on this night he tries to break free from his binds, sending celestial fires all across the world in a visible and beautiful star fall.
