Hollien
Kingdom of the singing Trees is nestled among the trees of the Holy Forest. Hollien is one of the 13 kingdoms of Morteron. Nicknamed due to the after the peacfull diversity among the temperate forest. It has been ruled by the ruled by the Gregori family out of the capital city of Varden
Structure
Hollien has a monarch in name but is actually ruled by a complex system of bureaucracies known as courts. Each Court is set to focus on a particular matter for the benefit for the kingdom. Each Court has its own hierarchy with the highest 3 ranking members known a a Sinjoro. Each of the major cities also have their own system of courts to manage their individual needs. The heads of each city court is known as a Duko and are known to participate in the royal congress. The Current Kingdom courts are as follows:
- Royal Congress: The highest electing force in kingdom. It consists of all the Sinjoro and Duo. They elect the monarch and approve of monarch decrees. They also deal with the election of new Sinjoro, and are responsible for approving if a city meets the requirements to get a Duko representative
- Court of Law: Court responsible for creating law and dealing with judgment for violations of law
- Court of War: Court responsible for military matter and law enforcement
- Court of Magic: Court responsible matters of magic control and development
- Court of Discovery: Court responsible for Education and technological development
- Court of Diplomacy: Court responsible for diplomacy matters and peace
- Court of Trade: Court responsible for trade and state finances
- Court of Culture: Court responsible for promotion of the arts, media and kingdom morale
- Court of Flowers: Court responsible for matters and protection of the natural world
History
Before the Era of the Salionus Kingdom the Holy Forest climate forced its peoples to deal with the extremes of living in a temperate zone. Its productivity has also fostered a diverse set of cultures in a concentrated area. Thus early civilizations were accustomed to large amounts of cooperation and diplomacy. After the fall of the Salionus Kingdom the new empire of Holyun rose using the Church of the Blessed Mother as a religious unifying force for the various ruling groups in the region.
However, Corruption of the church in power would lead to discontent with the powers that be. Then Siloud Slave rebellions would further push the peoples of the holy forest to push for freedom. Key figures, Zaria Gregori, was championing the idea of the separation of church and state. All this to an event that would become known as the Children's Council. It ended with the signing of the Patrino Promeso, effectively removing the Churches direct influence in politics. As pers its author, Zaria Gregori, the Patrino Promeso also laid the foundations for the bureaucracy of the governing bodies for the new Kingdom of Hollien
Demography and Population
the Holy Forest climate fostered a diverse set of cultures accustomed to large amounts of cooperation, order and diplomacy. Due to their long held influence of the Church of the Blessed Mother Ctizens still have deep religious beliefs and sense of devotion of piety.

They occupy most of the land known as the Holy Forest. To the north is the kingdom of the Freefora. To the west is the Whitelands and Autumia. To the south is the Wintercov To the east is the Brislepine
