It has been ruled by the ruled by the Warog family out of the capital city of Pit and Toane
Structure
Brislepine was originally founded under a charismatic General, Horath Warog, the kingdom takes a militaristic approach to its leadership. While the city states are trusted to operate as desired. The Monarchs serve as the unifying force and motivate the development of the kingdom. However, in time of need or war the cities respect the absolute leadership of the Warog monarchs. However absolute power does not resolve with just one person.
Due to an inheritance dispute between twins Brislepine has dual monarchy. A male male monarch know as the War King that is seated in Pit , and a female monarch known as the War Queen seated in Toane. Each has equal power and must agree on materials involving the entire kingdom. The War King and Queen is the great warrior of the Warog Bloodline. Any Member of the Warog can challenge for title in a ritual known as Milokalim.
Milokalim is a fight of unarmed combat that ends only once a participant is either unconscious or surrenders. The current Monarch wears red war paint while the challenger wears white war paint. Each participant also chooses another Warog person to serve as their witness, who will also serve as ref of the fight. Milokalims also take place 3 sunsets after the challenge is issued and if the challenger or their allies is found to try unhonorable tactics in the meantime, their challenge will be void and they will be banned from issuing future challenges. Fight starts on the third sunset and continues for as long as needed.
Once a winner is declared they are given a Queens/Kings belt and their face is painted red. They are then presented to their ruling counterpart to be acknowledged. This is typically followed with a night of celebration. No other Milokalims can be issued for 3 months, and the losers can not issue another milokalim for 3 years.
