Silvanus
Silvanus, the Light Moon, Zagal in Draconic, is the god of wilderness and nature. He is associated with the lighter of the two moons of Morn. His sister, Morrigan, is associated with the dark moon.
Warm-blooded Pantheon
At the time of Creation, Silvanus did not exist. Instead there was Mieli, the god of nature. After the death of Mortus, Mieli was ripped in two and became Silvanus and his sister Morrigan, represented by the light and dark moons respectively. Silvanus was responsible for the creation of the natural order. He created the circle of life and built ecosystems for plants and animals to thrive. He is often associated with the positive aspects of nature, as opposed to his sister who is usually associated with the negative sides of nature, including rot and disease. However, this is not an entirely accurate representation of Silvanus. As the god of the natural order, Silvanus is as much invested in deaths and disasters as he is in life and fertility, so long as they occur naturally as part of the cycle of nature.Draconic Pantheon
In the Draconic pantheon, Zagal is depicted as a copper dragon with a green hue to his scales. Depictions of his extended wings show lush plant-life growing from them. Zagal is associated with the lighter of Morn's two moons. The glow that comes from the moon of Zagal is thought to breathe life into all plants on Morn. Zagal is also thought to occasionally help Saule in fighting against Naga so that the sun can come up, but usually he is busy fighting his sister, Erregal. The movement of the two moons throughout the monthly cycle is thought to depict the constant battle between Zagal and Erregal. As the two moons move in predictable monthly patterns, their fight is cyclical, repeating in the same way every month, with neither moon winning.
