Kannushi Dorothea Laoshun Kramer (a.k.a. The Ice Wall Teacher)
“Your form was perfect that time. Now do it again.”A Priestess of the Dusk Mage, and mentor for many young Acolytes. She’s a calm and imposing woman with many years of authority under her belt. She is considered one of the toughest, most demanding teachers in the Dusk Mage denomination, probably in the entire Zygallic Church. In the Present Day, she acts as Robin's contact and researcher. Through a constant Sending spell, she maintains contact with her former pupil. Despite their history, Dorothea has made it clear she sees Robin as a fellow peer who may one day surpass her in some meaningful manner. Until then, she is content to do what she must for Robin, including go on sabbatical to further assist her pupil's more clandestine issues. Despite her youth, she is a woman who has lived a very full life. She keeps that to herself though, as she would rather be seen as an education and a mentor than whatever labels her past may dredge up. Theme Song: Wild Roses by Monsters and Men.

Personal history
When she was born her parents were very happy, for they had wanted a child for a long time. As a child she asked many questions, most of them ones her parents had no answer to. When she was old enough they pleaded with the nearby monastery to allow her access to the libraries. When the monks refused out of principal, rather than malice, Dorothea was distraught.
Her opportunity to change this would come at that year’s Ara’Avali, when on the fourth day the monastery doors would be open to the public. On the fifth day her parents could not find her. The village searched high and low for her, but it would be the monks who would find her, hiding in the stacks while surrounded by several books she found in their library.
In secret the monks made a deal with her and her family to allow her into the library. This continued for years in spite of the gossip throughout the town. Eventually everyone’s suspicions were confirmed when Dorothea casted Prestidigitation at some other children who teased her. Soiling their nice clothes, the children ran away, and Dorothea was taken aside by the monks.
When asked how she learned these things, she said “what? I just followed what the book said.” From there she was deemed to be blessed with magic, and was offered a chance to join the Dusk Mage Clergy. She accepted without hesitation.
She began as an apprentice in her hometown, but took a more proactive approach to her devotion. Noticing she knew many things her fellow villagers did not, she organized classes to educate them. News of these seminars spread and eventually the local Bishop heard of her seminars. So impressed with her skill at helping others he sponsored her continuing education at the Saptagiri Monastery.
While at the Monastery she opted to study magic in greater detail. She did not spend much time making friends, for she was often caught spending her free time reading at the monastery library. Her drive for knowledge caught the attention of Junoon De'Oshieru, who would later be known as The Hosenka. Bishop Junoon was famous for her desire to teach others, so she took the most unusual children and tested her hypothesis on educating others. It was here Dorothea blossomed even further, and by the time she was 13, she was already more proficient in magic than some of the Bishops.
Education
Earned her education at the Dusk Mage Monastery, the Saptagiri Monastery.
Employment
Currently works at Saptagiri as a bishop, or Kannushi. Though she has the means to become an archbishop, she feels this would put her out of reach of educating others, (instead forcing her into a more administrative role, rather than a purely academic one) and has declined.
