Mollantisia

Mollantisia is the capitol of Espara and the home city of Solorianity. It is massive and is characterized by the red terracota roofs, abundance of holy statues, and the The Hallowed Citadel.

Government

The Government of the city, while technically under the Esparian Emperor Mellian Loveheart Pontius VII, is more rightly ruled by the Church of Solorianity and Pope Lisandra. The church, and its affiliate organizations have full jursidiction under Esparian Law. The emporers Palace resided outside of the city, and rarely does he make public appearances.

Infrastructure

The city sits between a delta of fresh water. It is drinkable in most of the city, and many pipe systems were built to provide drinking water to the wells scattered aorund the city. However by the time the drinking water arrives at the Lower Echelon, it is often polluted and unsafe for drinking. Many bridges gap these rivers, and gondolas are used regularly as a mode of transportation.

Districts

The Higher Echelon- The higher echelon is where Upper Baimont class resides. This is the middle class residents of the city, often being bannerman to a Sultana, a respected figure in the church, or sometimes even a wealthy trader.
The Middle Echelon- The middle ehcelon is slightly lower in class, but still a nice portion of the city. Lower Baimonts often take residence here and even some porgs. Wealthy citixens that emmigrated to the city, that are not apart of the heirarchy oftne reside here as well.
The lower Echelon- The lower echelon is home to the Porgs and Fealts. Characterized by lack of space, tight roads, and overpopulation, most who visit the city avoid these areas if possible.
Sultana Grove- A beuatiful district of villas for the highest ranked members of society. These noble villas belong to decorated war generals, arch Cadinals, Magistrates, and High Judges.
The Market- The main area of shopping for the city. Many goods go in and out of the port, and most shops are restricted to only this area.
The Dismount- The main point of entrance for travlers coming into the city. The dismount holds the two major forts protecting the city, and large swathes of docks.
