Eternal Empress Maki-Ai Nefirimu (a.k.a. The Ghost Empress, The Crimson Blur, The Royal Pain, Lady Maki, Maki)
Maki-Ai is the current matriarch of the Holy Nefirimu clan as well as the current Eternal Empress.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Although Maki is a massive bookworm she doesnt neglect her own physical training. Maki is actually quite attractive, As a matter of fact every woman who becomes the Empress is otherworldly beautiful. Despite her centerfold like figure she is deceptively muscular, being able to sprint for several hours straight without getting tired as well a being able deadlift close to 800 pounds.
Body Features
Maki's body is well toned and curvy, Maki takes pride in the fact of just how muscular and agile she is dispite the fact that she dosent look like it at all.
Specialized Equipment
Maki has four unique sets of armor that completely mask her presence and conceal her identity. Each set of armor has a different purpose and appearance. The four armor sets are as follows:
- The "Red Oni" Armor is pictured in the gallery below. This armor amplifies Maki's strength and dexterity to insane levels. This is her most used armor, mainly for its utility and flexability. The speciality of this armor is the ability to attack with very little effort, because she can allow the armor to act on autopilot so it is like she has an undepleteable reserve of energy even if she has exausted all of her strength. The drawback of this armor is that while wearing it she cant use magic of any kind. It is for this reason when wearing this armor she normally carries some type of healing item on her.
- The "Blue Oni" Armor looks just like the "Red Oni" Armor except it is blue and white instead of red and black. This armor amplifies Maki's already high intelligence and wisdom to even more astronomical levels than they are. This is her second most used armor, primarily for its destructive power. While wearing this armor, she can cast spells of up to 3rd level without expending a spell slot; however, she can choose to expend one, and the spell will be treated as if it were upcast. The drawback of this armor is that while worn, the wearer's strength and dexterity are nonexistent.
- Maki's "Serenity" armor consists of simple monastic robes, a Hannya mask, and a wig of long flowing gray hair that matches the dulled and muted tones of the robes. While wearing this armor, Maki's class is treated as that of a monk with a warlock multiclass, with the level split 80-20 between the two classes based on Maki's current level. Maki uses this armor when she needs to access an area where the "Oni" armors cannot be used for one reason or another, or when she needs to be as discreet as possible. The downside of this armor is that it is considered cloth armor, which lowers her Armor Class considerably and could cause her serious injury if she is not careful.
- Maki's "Kirin" Armor is the most interesting armor she has. It combines the other three armors with some noticeable differences, especially the mask. The mask is made of tempered steel covered in gold leaf and colored glass. This armor maxes out all of Maki's ability scores and grants her the ability to cast spells of 10th and 11th level. The main downsides of this armor are that it is very conspicuous and very taxing on her body due to the sheer power being forced out through her body. After the handful of times she has used this armor, she was left in a very vulnerable state and needed to be bedridden for a month afterward.

Personal history
Maki-Ai was born 24 years ago as the youngest daughter to the son of the previous Eternal Empress. On her birth she was identified as an Aasimar this was viewed as odd occurance concidering it a gift from the gods. As per the traditon of the Nefirimu Clan upon reaching the age of 3 her education began in order to prepare her for her assention to the throne.
It was at the age of 6 where it became obviouis of Maki's tomboy nature often going missing whenever politacal theory classes where being taught and showing up early when weapon training was on the menu, often showing up even before her instructors when weapons where concerned. This led her to mastering all weapons to such a degree that she begain teaching her teachers at the age of 12.
It was at the age of 10 that she realized that if she exceeded the expectations placed on her that she would be left alone by her minders. It was at this point that she begain to request books and scrolls whenever she was unable to meet with her tutors. Before long she had aquired so many scrolls and books that a room in the Nefirimu estate had to be converted into a library. It was by the time she was 16 that the room was too small and an entire building had to be built to house her texts a building that she herself designed and drew the blueprints for. At the age of 19 the building in question was as large and expansive as the the clan manor of the Nefirimu clan itself. A not easy task to say the least.
On her 24th birthday it was revealed to her that she would be the next Eternal Empress, but when she heard this she asked the messenger to hold on because she was doing something else. When she finally learned her status as the next empress she ended up going missing for a full 6 months only returnig when she found out that her grandmother was diying. It was at this point where she accepted her new role as empress although she does have a tendency of going missing for weeks at a time. She is found in her library about 17% of the time where she is normally writing her own books and scrolls, In her menagerie tending to her pets about 35% of the time, In her room sleeping 28% of the time, or vanished into thin air 19% of the time only to come back covered in blood dressed in her crimson armor. She only 1% of the time is found doing the proper act of ruling the archipelago. It is for this reason whenever she is meeting with diplomats or emesseries the doors of the meeting room are locked from the outside.

Maki is pansexual, however she is only attracted to those she finds useful and those she deems worthy of her time. If she finds you useful and worthy she will not only dote on you she will view you as hers and will treat you as such. Be warned she will call on you whenever she wishes and has no need for a permanet relationship. In her 24 years of life she has accumulated such a impressive and sizeable harem of both women and men that sometimes she has massive orgies in which she is not even involved for her own pleasure of watching.
Education
From the time she could sit up and speak Maki has been taught everything she knows from manners to formal education by her clan. She is a expert markswoman, expert swordswoman, expert strategist and tactician. She is also well versed in politics and diplomacy (although she hates the tediusness of meetings). Due to her own studies aside from her formal training, Maki has a comprehensive knowledge of biology and herbology. Due to these studies she is an execptionaly skilled doctor,alchemist, and chemist. Truthfully although not widely known she is by far the most intelegent person in the archipelago and one of the most intelegent person on Vagus.

Due to her high IQ she often views those around her as idots or lazy. Do to this she often thinks very little of others, this includes her own family as well as her "closest advisors".
Intellectual Characteristics
Maki-Ai has a genius level intellect and due to such she finds all things boring and dull. Although there is a two exceptions to this and they are her pets and her books. She dotes on her pets like they are her own children and treats them as such. She enjoys reading and can often come off as a bit of a bitch when she is pulled away from her books. When it comes to her "private interatctional" preferences she likes them dumb, because it means she can teach them the way she wishes things to be, Oh and she is a very "demanding teacher".

To be quite honest Maki is not bad in social situations its just that she prefers not to. Although if she needs to be presant she would be more at ease in a situation of her own choosing. In said situations she is quite charming and is a fantastic host, she tends to show this side of herself to only a select few though. Select few meaning she has to spesificly choose you. This is also how she aquired her harem which are both her close friends and her lovers.
Mannerisms
She has a tendancy of falling asleep when forced into situations she didnt arrange herself out of sheer bordom. When in situations of her own divising she is normally very corgal and accepting, she is willing to answer questions and is genrally farely easy to get along with, but dont be suprised if she goes off on a tangent about something unrelated to your question namely about her pets, she will eventually get back on topic but you will have to indulge the detor.
Hobbies & Pets
Maki-Ai loves animals and has aquired a virtual zoo of pets and companions. Other then collecting pets her other main hobbies are sherking her responceabilities as the Eternal Empress and fighting strong opponents, however due to her role as the Eternal Empress she cant reveal her face to the outside world so she uses a suit of crimson colored samurai armor with a mask that mostly covers her face in order to conceal her idenity, which has given her the nickname the Crimson Blur.

Her manor of speach is unbecoming of one of her high station, meaning she speaks plainly and with zero filter. If she likes someone she wont be coy about it. She often will come out and say what she is thinking the moment she thinks of it.
