Tudhle Huvrelbi Character in Mythrite | World Anvil

Tudhle Huvrelbi

Tudhle Huvrelbi is an elegant sixty-eight-year-old human with dignified wrinkles, no age spots, and white hair pulled effortlessly back in an Edwardian Coiffure. She wears only the most fashionable, expensive clothing, usually blue because her second late husband (her favorite) told her that blue brought out her eyes. She rarely shows extreme emotion, remaining calm and unbothered in the face of stress or pressure. Despite her small stature, Tudhle commands respect. She speaks in short, snipped sentences full of long words and never - never - raises her voice above library volume.   Tudhle traveled to Mythrite, with her fourth late husband at the very start of the boom. He was a successful Merchant in the Mythril trade and Tudhle was very fond of him. They helped organize the renovation of Charlamaine Hill and remained on the forefront of charitable endeavors to make Mythrite a better place for all its inhabitants.   Wise investment is something Tudhle prides herself on. As time went on and more people moved to Mythrite, competition in the mining industry heightened. Her husband became complacent and allowed his figures to slip. Tudhle remained supportive and unfazed, responsibly living within her means and not above. Her husband had a harder time adjusting to a more modest lifestyle. Unfortunately, he was injured in a mining accident and despite the physician’s - and Tudhle’s - best efforts, did not recover. Tudhle, of course, was devastated.   She’s been living in Mythrite for a little under nine months, and in that time created a guild of sorts for the few young adults and adolescents in Mythrite to help working parents and keep adolescents occupied and safe and off the streets while their parents are working. She’s been in the textile industry nearly all her life and prides herself on teaching the intricacies to the youth of Mythrite. She oversees them personally to ensure the quality of the product. Her philanthropic acts earn her the respect of the privileged class and the reverence of the working class. The adolescents sing a different tune, but what do they know, really?

History

Huvrelbi sees Sante as a troublemaker who could potentially disrupt her attempts at keeping adolescents in order. Sante sees Huvrelbi as an "old fart" who is overly controlling of children in the town; something they have a personal dislike of.
