The Owl's Eye

The Owl’s Eye is a humble little storefront in Mythrite’s merchant district owned and ran by Sprick Grimmer. Although the store is rather small in size, the store’s contents tidy and organized. Sprick has taken advantage of the limited space to the best of degree, making the cranny feel cozy, compact, and even a little bit homey.    Unlike many stores in Mythrite, the Owl’s Eye is almost guaranteed to give it’s customers an enjoyable and comfortable shopping experience. Its old splintery oak shelves that line its walls are neatly stocked from tip to toe with al kinds of goods, ranging from jarred figs, powdered spices, and boxed teas, to aged leather bags, scratchy wool blankets, and mining supplies like pickaxes and lanterns. Sprick guarantees that it's your one-stop-shop for all that you'll ever need to survive in Mythrite.   In center of the store sits a fireplace that always warmly burns and crackles, keeping the store lit while providing relieve from Mythrite’s cold and cruel elements. Atop of the fireplace sits an array of scented candles that are constantly swapped out in accordance to match the season and weather. An odd, yet familiar combination of burning firewood and cinnamon-vanilla permeates the store, further enhancing the shop’s warm and welcoming atmosphere.   Although the store’s only been open for less than a year, Sprick fears that it’s already passed its heyday. For a very short period of time, the Owl’s Eye was a household name in Mythrite and was the prime destination for purchasing coal. But now that Quai-Mart has taken its roots in Mythrite, the store hasn’t done any business in coal since.   While the store is not as profitable as it once was, it is still the one-stop-shop for purchasing memorabilia and tickets for shows held at the Emerald Amphitheater, as Sprick owns head stakes in it. When a show comes around that stars the esteemed Marachar Gardner, the store gets a taste of its former glory and is packed to the brim with customers, all vying for a seat to an unforgettable show.
