Jarlak, the Carrion Lord

Jarlack is the lupine master of dozens of huge white wolves that guard Talagaad, the Viking paradise in the afterlife.

A Pradeyalkyri, Jarlak is one of the monsters and giants who ruled the Viking northlands in the mythic past before the god Sarajin’s arrival. He aided Sarajin in his conquest and as a reward was allowed to serve him after his triumph.

When Sarajin wants to talk to mortals he often dispatches Jarlak to fetch them. The wolf lord swallows them whole and regurgitates them at the god's feet in perfect health.
