Dracofelas, the Dragon Cat

Dracofelas is also known as the Dragon Cat or the Great Saber-tooth Cat. It is a very rare large solitary ambush predator with huge teeth jutting down out of its mouth. There are few reliable sightings and no known live captures; however, rumors of them are common in the isolated wooded highlands and mountain of Hârn and Ivinia.
Dracofelas live for up to 20 years, and the Order of the Demon Pameshlu the Insatiable offers a 10 gold crown bounty for a captive beast for their Pamesani arenas. Their pelts would sell for at least 3 gold crowns.
Some Ilvirans believe the dracofelas is a rare Ivashu and at least one Ilviran cult revering the creature, although this is likely a case of mistaken identity.
Some scholars believe they may have an innate ability to travel through Barasi Points or Holy Groves and may well be more common on other worlds such the Fay Realms, Midgaad, Sherem, or Quarn. This may also explain the reported range of the animal's coloration. Some report it having a light brown or tan hide, and others claim it has white or black fur. Some also claim the beast has stripes over its back. It is also speculated that its coloration may be seasonal, or there may be regional sub-species.
