Hooked Glaive

Some Cooper hook soldiers wield a large hooked Glaive. This weapon is designed to hook and unhorse a horseback rider, especially a Checked Shields Knight.

Hooked Glaive Melee Weapon Damage: 1d10 Damage Type: Slashing Weight: 8 lbs Properties: Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Special.

Special Feature when attacking a mounted opponent and hits the user instead of causing damage can make a Strength (Athletics) check vs either the horsemen’s Strength (Athletics), Dexterity (Acrobatics) check or Riding Proficiency (the target chooses) or be pulled off the horse and become prone. An adjacent person can assist in the strength check.

Copper Plating

Cuprikeshang or Copperskining process has similarities to silvering a weapon.

Combined with the ritual process, the copper-coated blades negate weapon slashing resistances of any celestial or elemental creature (except fire) and turns any damage immunity of these creatures into damage resistance. Additionally, enchantment with fire magic is easier and less costly.
