Clan Milaka

The Earl of Sarkum Ranald Milaka leads Clan Milaka, the most influential family within the Kingdom of Kanday.

The Milaka's trace their descent from the ancient Gemalan chieftains of southwestern Hârn. After the fall of the Theocracy of Tekhos in 596TR, they founded the Kingdom of Gemala.

Gemala remained an independent Kingdom allying with first the Republic of Aleath then the growing Kingdom of Kanday. Unfortunately this alliance had a price when the Kingdom of Rethem invaded in 688TR. The then King Ranald escaped into exile in Kanday.

Ranald swore fealty to Kanday's King Andasin III and was married to the king's second daughter Mirelael. After Kanday won the war, he was named the Earl of Sarkum.

During the war King Andasin III had died in battle, and his elder daughter, Queen Eriel, was assassinated, making Ranald's wife, Mirelael, the Queen of Kanday. Their eldest son, Andasin IV has been named King after Mirelael's death.

I like the use of the WA family tree function. IMHO the feature should scale so it fits better in windows.

I am not sure how it appeared in the header, it wasn’t planned that way. I do like what WA has done but I agree the formatting needs a little work. They improve thing constantly so I assume that eventually we will get a full functionality. The family tree I prepared contains several more family members but we a limited on who it shows.
