Reslava (Brother) Merric

Brother Merric is a member of the Irreproachable Order and the congregation of the Shields of Belsirasin. He is based in the Thardic Republic travelling to villages and towns as required to deal with demonic possession and evil spirits.
A tall, handsome man, whose black hair is striped with white locks and a scar across his haunted face. He is dedicated to the cleansing of evil spirits.

Apparel & Accessories

Dressed in black robes, with a large collection of multicoloured candles within a wide belt in the traditional seasonal color adopted by the church. Has a pendant in the shape of a shield behind a burning candle.

Personal history

His father was possessed by an evil entity called Surrico and killed all of his kin but him. He has dedicated his life to hunting down this body swapping monster.

Education

Taken in by the church of Peoni as an orphan he immediately looked to for guidance from the Shields of Belsirasin. He joined the clergy as soon as possible and demonstrated an iron will and talent for exorcism.

He is a skilled practitioner of The Gently Winding Path, a highly effective defensive style of unarmed combat.

He has a close working relationship with several members of the The Argent Order.
