Vampire
A diverse animalistic species of a demon with the thirst for blood.
Terimology:
-Kiss: The act of turning someone into a vampire. -Kissed: Common nickname for vampires as a whole or individuals, amongst themselves. -Lyusinok: Someone outside a vampire family that was turned into a vampire; not birthed by vampires or biologically related to any. -Zheda: Someone who was birthed by vampires (or is related to one by blood), and then turned into one. -Stašio/a/en: The person who kissed them. -o ending for women, -a ending for men, -en ending for nonbinary vampires.Basic Information
Anatomy
Vampires can vary greatly, as vampirism is a virus that turns hosts and can affect any species, though it seems to target humanoids more in certain regions. The biggest differences between vampires and non vampires are that their blood ranges from pure black, to purple, to lavender, they have fangs in a variety of shapes, brighter eye colours, pointed ears, and animalistic traits that vary based on ethnicity.
Genetics and Reproduction
They can reproduce sexually like many other species, but they can also turn other species into vampires. Those born from vampires aren't born as vampires, rather as the original species the parents were born as. Because of the blood draining virus, they're able to mingle with other species they normally wouldn't be able to before becoming a vampire.
All vampires carry a certain bacteria that eats away at their blood. This bacteria can be spread to others that have been bit by vampires, and turn them into vampires if their immune systems are weak enough. If a baby is sickly enough, they will actually develop as a vampire in the womb, known as a Priyalny.
Growth Rate & Stages
Vampires are ageless, and thus grow very slowly physically.
Lyusinok tend to just stay the physical age of when they're turned, but naturally born vampires will age slowly. A Zheda for example, could look to be 13, but actually be over 7,000 years old.
Ecology and Habitats
Like other demon species, they tend to thrive in warmer climates, though it's mostly because they lack a lot of blood. Only if they keep a consistent intake of blood to mimic a regular person's blood level only then can they handle colder climates.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Their main source of food is really just drinking blood, however if they're in a bind, they do eat meat, but it has to be raw, all in all are obligate carnivores.

Social Structure
Zheda are at the top of the social hierarchy, especially because those who are kissed usually never retain their sentience. Older known ethnicities are also on top.
Uses, Products & Exploitation
Kissed vampires can be used by the zheda to gather blood for them. All kissed vampires have an inclination to follow their Stašio/a/en orders/advice to some extent, depending on their willpower and the experience of a vampire.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Can be seen all throughout Hell, but usually in the darker areas. In Mirthae, they're mostly found in warmer climates, and some in cold climates.
Average Intelligence
Zheda can be very cunning on average and pretty intelligent, though Lyusinok tend to be very simple minded, and more driven by instinct when it comes to Hell-born Lyusinok. Lyusinok from Mirthae are more likely to retain their intelligence, especially if turned by Zheda though still show more animalistic tendencies.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
Vampires have a parasitic symbiotic relationship with the virus that turns them into vampires, simply named the Blood Drainer Virus, or BDV for short. In return for letting it use a person as a host, it gives the person enhanced senses and special powers.

The Vampire Empire
History
Not much is known about the beginnings of vampire life, but what is known is that one man claims to be the first; Vladimir Impinski, the Vampire Czono (their word for Emperor). He developed the empire by travelling to various worlds, looking for humanoid folk to turn.
Eventually, after he had his first child Kasladan and turned him into a vampire, he had a mutation that gave some bat-like appearances. After Vladimir deemed him worthy enough to rule, he allowed him to make his own clan, the Lapkat Oditey clan. Kasladan would die not long after he started his own family. Despite this, he allowed the clan to retain its status and is close friends to them to this day.
Another mutation happened, and Vladimir kindly let them create their own independent clan (the Odlyov clan) as long as they followed by his rules. Same thing would happen centuries later (a century after the first family of ivierae immigrated to Mirthae), creating the Lolev clan.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Vampires have interacted with thousands of different species, but there's a few from Mirthae that they have notable relations with.
With ivierae they have a love-hate relationship. They have a long and compilated history between the Impinski bloodline and the Benoist family. Currently they have a truce, but for how long it'll last and what will happen when it ends is unknown. For now though many of the younger vampires started mingling with them while the older ones tend to be more hostile towards the ivierae.
With humans, they hold a high disdain for them because they're generally very religious and anti-demon. They also just generally view them as lower beings, less powerful than them. They tend to treat them as mere cattle as a source of blood. Between refusing to allow immigration during a war and legalising the hunting of vampires, they're constantly teetering on the edge of a second war.
Another Hell native species are the succubi/incubi. At first, they didn't get along very well with vampires and tried using them just to gain ranks with royalty. They did at one point go to war after multiple succubi nearly ruined the Impinski bloodline's reputation. Things did eventually settle down and they left each other alone, until a crisis occurred that nearly wiped out the succubi/incubi race. They teamed up with the vampires to tackle it, and afterwards they started becoming great allies.
Satyrs have existed almost as long as vampires, if not longer, though they never really interacted with each other until after an event that caused them to temporarily flee Mirthae in immigrate into Hell. The Impinskis welcomed the satyrs with open arms and were the first major group of denizens of Hell to accept the satyrs. Currently they still have a strong allyship.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Most are very pale, but some ethnicities can have different skin colouring similar to humans, or even like animals and thus can have a variety of patterns and markings.
