CMP201: Thaumatology, Thaumaturgy, and Theurgy
An introduction to the differences between Thaumatology, Thaumaturgy, and Theurgy. Although all are classified as Divine magic, and indeed a Divinely-inspired spellcaster will likely use both Thaumaturgy and Theurgy, the subtle distinctions are difficult even for the initiated. CMP201 is not only offered to Comparative Metaphysics students, but is in fact a required course for most Thaumatology, Thaumaturgy, and Theurgy degrees. (After taking TMY101, of course.)
Briefest history of Divine Magic
Thaumatology - Theoretical Thaumaturgy, or more than that?
Unit 2:

Thaumaturgy: Wonder-working in the world
Theurgy: Aligning with the divine
Unit 3:
Differences between Thaumaturgy and Theurgy: A Deep Dive
There will be quizzes after every unit, which account for 10% of your grade each. The remainder of your grade will be comprised of your grades between the final and two projects - the highest grade between the three will account for 40% of your overall grade, while the second-highest will account for 30%. (At the professor's discretion, substituting the grade for the remaining item in place of the grade for quizzes may be allowed.)
