An Orchestrated Cure

Sun Blossom

This flower grows slowly and takes months for its first bloom in the summer. The stalk can easily grow up to six feet, hence why it takes so long for a single bloom. When it is ready, it’s face reveals colours of the sun: red, orange and yellow. The petals at the bottom are a shade of orange while fading into yellow in a pointed shape. This flower does not have many leaves, which are quite large. Blooming begins as soon as dawn and the face slowly opens during the suns’ rising. In full bloom, the core begins resonating with the sun’s brilliance.

Properties

The large leaves are used for medicinal properties like tea, oil, and can even be used as a cloth or bandage. Recently it has been known to have some effect against a few conditions and diseases. This flower is also known by its medical name: Healing Sun.

Location

Sun Blossoms grow where the sun shines the most, and usually are found near each other only about a foot apart. Due to the Sun Spots, these flowers aren’t common, but are rather uncommon across Mara.

Moon Blossom

These flowers are also known as Night Glow because of its nature to glow from the moon’s presence. Much like the Sun Blossom, they have an illumination that is quite mysterious and researchers have been unable to study why that is. This type of flower grows near water and blooms at night during the spring and summer. During its bloom the petals take on a crescent moon shape revealing its pearl-like face, reflecting the moon itself. These flowers are certainly smaller than the Sun Blossom, but larger than perennials.

Properties

The petals are used for an array of things, from silky threads to medicinal uses. It is mainly used as a preventive of illnesses rather than a cure.

Location

Found by water from ponds to waterfalls, it is said this flower can lead to water. These flowers don’t group together, but like to keep their distance from one another. They are considered uncommon across Mara.
In recent studies, both of these flowers have complementary properties and act as a cure to the synthetic chemical which caused the epidemic of what was called Fake Condition.
