ShadowPhoenix

The person known as the ShadowPhoenix goes by many names, The Smiling Death or the Silver Rain, but it's under the name ShadowPhoneix that she has become most famous or feared.
The origin of the name is said to be that she would always strike from the shadows, and those few that would get a glimpse of her would only be able to describe it as a dark shadow, so after a couple of missions, people would begin to refer to the assassin as The shadow. 
Later, Shadow would earn the second part of her name again over several years when governments and more shady organisations would send counter-assassins towards Shadow, sometimes believing that they succeeded in neutralising Shadow as an assassin. Still, every time, she would rise again, and as this became more and more known, her name began changing towards ShadowPhonenix as the shadow would always rise from the ashes as it was believed.
After each mission, no matter what type it was, the people that arrive at the scene will always find that ShadowPhoenix has left a card behind. On one side, it says "Next time," and on the other side is a drawing of a cartoony version of the River Manchote that have over the years become the symbol for ShadowPhoenix.

Wealth & Financial state

It is believed that ShadowPhoenix, the most famous assassin in Mirateia over the years, has accumulated a fortune that could rival some nobles and is using this wealth to both bribe nobles to keep her hidden and to help the research into more advanced stealth magic, this last theory some say is based in the fact that in the years ShadowPhoenix has been active, the research into this form of magic has advanced suspiciously fast compared to other "minor" fields.
