River Manchote Species in Mirateia | World Anvil

River Manchote

River Manchote is the only flightless bird that can be found in Central Dercia and can be found only along the Kilshire river.   To the untrained eye, the River manchote resembles the "Wen bird" living that can be found in the Kingdom of Thynin although the Wen is bigger and flies. This confusion can be explained by the habit of the River Manchote of standing tall on its legs with its beaks raised when it notices danger.   The Crienia view the River Manchote as a delicacy and the more well off will import the meat for special occations.
