Unarmed and alone, Falth travelled through the cold mountains of the Air dragon lands, most of which he has been fighting over the past two months. Seeing his troops decimated morale, the lack of provisions through the cold Freezan and hopeless stagnation in his conquest, the leader of the Night Hawks set out to attempt and establish a truce with his sworn enemy.

The Ember Wielder was injured during his subjugation by the dragons, who took no chances and had no sympathy for the gryphon warlord. Yriinth Tonitruum heard him out, as he was brought forth in restraints. The hearing was conducted in a secluded area, and Yriinth was offered terms under which all hostilities will be ceased.

I wished for my kin to find their strength and regain what we lost, yes. But now, I realize my judgement was clouded with revenge for the death of my brother. He was not only slain by Airs, but all of his eggs were stolen as well. Not even I could find words to soothe his mate's heart.    In my pursuit of justice, I drummed up an army of likeminded kin to fight against all the wrongs you tolerated and all the land you stolen from us. My newfound power helped them see in me a savior, yet now, I left many a gryphon as broken as I am.   Your position is in no greater advantage compared to mine. The internal strife you are facing from your Queen is no secret to us. Allow us to keep Greengrasp and we will allow any dragon we captured the choice to leave - should they want to.
— Falth, The first Ember Wielder
Negotiations lasted for several hours. In spite of his weakened state, Falth carried himself proudly. Eventually, the first accord was struck. Greengrasp was going to become a shared settlement - one half will be inhabited by gryphons, the other by its original population.   Both leaders were skeptical of this arrangement, but couldn't find a better alternative. 2nd Wakean marked the end of the War of Ember officially, yet Greengrasp was far from peaceful in the coming days. Due to Falth's reputation, he was never allowed to leave but - the very next evening and in spite of his wings being tied up - the elusive Ember Wielder disappeared from his cell without a trace.   During his absence, Maara's clutch with Falth has hatched, and thus, she has given birth to the very first offspring sired by an Ember wielder. While their relationship was not openly admitted, the gryphlets were born with unnatural deep purple eyes and blue-red tips of their wings, leaving little doubt that they were sired by an unusual partner. With a mix of hostility and apprehension, they were nicknamed by others as Vileborn.
