Éowin

"Life is expression.
Expression is art.
Allow art to thrive and enrich your culture,
lest it sinks into a pit of melancholy and woe.

Blessed are those who choose to accept, rather than reject.
Blessed are those who please and they shall be pleased.
Blessed are those who embrace lust and tame it.

Take pride in procreation, wine, art, and enjoy yourself,
for life without pleasure, is no life at all."

Éowin
(also known as "the Glamorous Swan") is one of the prime deities in the Eldar pantheon. She is recognized as the goddess of art, expression, pleasure and fertility.   She is the wife of Hallas and mother to Celebrimbor.

Divine Domains

Life, Trickery.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Éowin's primary symbol is that of a golden shield with a violet harp at it's centre. Gold represents love, passion, glamour etc. Violet represents creativity and pleasure (some believe it only represents wine). The harp represents art and beauty.

Tenets of Faith

Éowin advocates the pursuit of art, pleasure and a free spirit. She sees a world too caught up in unimportant things, such as war and gold, and she wishes her followers to be examples of a perfect world, where songs are everlasting and love embraces all. Her followers are promised an afterlife of luxury in The Aether.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Éowin is the Aether artiste, so to speak, and takes great pride in her work. Her active goal however is to compose the Song of Forgiveness: a melody that will cleanse the Nether gods of all hate and pain, and unite them with the Aether gods. Her long term goal is to support Ysmir's cause to abolish the concept of the afterlife.
