Banned Content
When creating characters for a campaign, it is important that only official Wizards of the Coast content is used. This is to maintain the integrity of the game and enjoyment of the players by ensuring that player characters are balanced. When making a character please avoid the following:
- Unearthed Arcana (UA) - While UA is Wizard of the Coast content, it is beta content and is therefore unbalanced and has caused problems in games previously. It is for those reasons that players are asked not to use content marked with 'UA' when making a character.
- Content from homebrew/unofficial sourcebooks - A lot of content creators have put out their own DnD sourcebooks and homebrew content. At this time, this content will not be allowed as the integrity and balance of unofficial homebrew content can't be confirmed and could therefore cause problems in game.
- Content from Critical Role DM Matt Mercer - While content from Matt Mercer has been collaborated with by members of Wizard of the Coast, it still remains homebrew content. The Blood Hunter class and spells with the Dunamancy (and Graviturgy or Chronurgy) tags are not allowed for the time being.

Tasha's Character Options
In Chapter 1 of Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, there is a guide to customising your character in various ways. These are options that players can freely take when making their character, however if a player wishes to enact the Custom Lineage rules, they must consult the DM and work together to create a character which fits in with the setting. When choosing to use Tasha's rules for customising a character you should consult your DM to ensure you are both on the same page as to what has changed with your character.
Rolling for Stats
When rolling for stats, players will be prompted to use the Charactermancer in Roll20. When it comes to rolling stats for a character, click the drop down bar and click the 'Roll for stats' option. If a player does not with to use the Charactermancer then they will roll 4d6 and drop the lowest roll for each ability score. To have this roll for you automatically in Roll20, type in the following command and copy and paste it until you have 6 figures: /r 4d6d1.
If a player does not like the stat array that they roll they have the option to select a set of pre-rolled stats from the following stat blocks:
- Mr/Miss Min Max – 17/12/12/11/10/10
- Spicy Boi – 15/15/14/11/11/10
- Average Joe – 13/13/13/13/13/13
