Valley of Plenty Bestiary in Notes | World Anvil

Valley of Plenty Bestiary

Refugees of a war, escorted by knights and adventurers, have fled to a once-lost valley. Now they seek to make this place their new home, but still the valley holds many secrets. Will it fall again, or make it through?
As a Pathfinder 2 setting, Valley of Plenty mostly uses creatures from the existing Bestiaries. But just blindly copying the creatures into the setting is no fun, so for player preparation, I have articles written from the Knights' perspective. This includes things like nature and how soldiers would subjugate the creatures. Players could take note from this and use it in their own preparations.

Cold Species

Silver Owlbear
Species | Dec 31, 2023

A more dangerous version of the Owlbear that calls snowy mountains its home

Written for WorldEmber's Advent Calendar, this is essentially a mixture of a polar bear and an owl bear. While not written during Bestiary February, it deserves mentioning as it also helped inspire the template I am using for the Bestiary.

Roar

Dragon Skeleton
Species | Dec 31, 2023

A foul skeleton resembling a wingless dragon, mindlessly patrolling a cave system

It's called a Dragon Skeleton, but in reality it's a Tyrannosaurus Rex Skeleton. A great foe that the players will initially have to avoid, as it is more a terrain hazard than an actual winnable fight. But they will definitely be able to return later and get even.
