in AtlasGenerations after the founding of Xarlaca, its children have sailed east along the Nipacian Archipelago, founding colonies and exploring its endless islands. And those children have found that they’re not alone.
When the Gods brought people to Xarlaca, they also seeded the archipelago with people and creatures, treasures and traps. Fiercely independent and brave enough to face the wild uncertainty of the seas, the people who live in Nipacia know one thing. The sea has secrets. Floating islands move about capriciously. Mysterious treasures hide deep in undersea canyons. Children are born hearing the voices of the sea or storm.

Inspiration
Nipacia is inspired by the Caribbean, from the beautiful islands, the pre Columbian Taino and Arawak civilizations, to the modern Caribbean cultures. It's also inspired by the High Seas as an idea of a place where light-hearted, swashbuckling adventurers can embark on voyages of pure exploration without damaging the people and places they visit. Where the nomadic and wandering cultures are centered, and settlements are temporary stops run by distant family.
