Murcielago

A murcielago is a variant of a bat, but with powerful psychic abilities. It is most famous for its propensity to steals the sensory organs, especially the noses and ears of its victims as part of its attack. Small, stealthy, and highly mobile, a murcielago is a natural ambusher. It may attack and then leave when the fight gets difficult, leaving its victims disfigured and deprived of their senses until they can get extensive healing.   Murcielagos mimic ordinary bats, being physically indisitinguishable from them except for their harp teeth and reinforced jaws.

Basic Information

Ecology and Habitats

Murcielagos are endemic to the lowlands of the Azcuche Region, as comfortable near settlements as in more isolated locations. They can blend in with other bat populations, living among helpful species such as fruit bats, easily becoming lost in colonies that can approach millions of members.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They can feed on insects and blood, but they seek out sensory organs, especially ears and noses. It is theorized that it builds its power through the consumption of these organs, taking them to strengthen psychic abilities rather than purely for nutrition.
