Dlare Schildh

Translated from Merani it reads "Death Protection" It is a funeral rite that is commonly under taken in the northern stretches of the known world done by druids of the Totems faith, and by the shaman of the Merrwan tribes.   It is a relatively simple ritual if you are even slightly versed in magic.  However it isn't taught until a firm understanding of the arcane is known as the side effects are damaging for the one being cast upon.

Effect

Prevents a corpse from being used as a conduit to summon a soul or spirit from the afterlife.

Side/Secondary Effects

If casting fails there is a small chance the soul will never be able to leave the body fully making it linger behind. If there is a curse or arcane disease the corpse will start growing boils momentarily.

Manifestation

All sources of flame within a meter of the corpse begin to hum as the ritualist mutters out invocations. Open completion all flames withing the radius of the body vanish.  Typically there is no response from the corpse on what's happening, but if it affected by an arcane disease it is common for the skin to start growing boils.

Source

The words that are spoken emulate the tales and guidance of Jhetal.

I like the formating of the article. Having the landscape in the background while the text scrolls is a nice effect.
