Treacherous Advice
Effect
You touch one creature and offer them advice. The target makes a Charisma saving throw, which they can choose to fail. Once before the spell ends, you can force the target to reduce d4 from one of their ability checks. You can roll the die before or after the target has made the ability check. The spell then ends.
Target becomes aware of the spell's effect after the d4 decrease is applied if they were not aware of the spell beforehand.
Manifestation
The actual casting of the spell is indistinguishable from the casting of the Guidance cantrip for the uninitiated, though there are few key differences. Guidance is a Divination spell, where Treacherous Advice is an Enchantment, and Treacherous Advice leaves a faint feel of tickle to the person whom it was casted on, instead of usual warmth of the Guidance.
