Adamantine dagger, with a simple dragon motif as a handle. It was originally made for Prince Driz'Meratar Shadowblade and gifted to him by his mother Shynt'vyrae Shadowblade. Markings of Shadowblade family confirm it is connected to the family, and it can be used as an assurance to show one has a connection to Fallen Prince.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

As an unique adamantine dagger, Doomfang makes 1d4 piercing damage and has the following properties: Finesse, Light, and Thrown (range 20/60). Besides of this, any hit with the Doomfang counts automatically as a critical hit (unlike normal adamantine weapon that auto criticals on only objects).
Players can use the dagger as a badge to confirm their connection to Dezzner Shadowblade for those who are in the know.

Significance

Dezzner gave the dagger to Shade as one of the rewards to Elflings as they helped to return his son Zato Shadowblade from the Shadowcove. It is most tangible sign of professor Shadowblade's respect towards the party so far, doubling as a blessing from said mentor.
