Delet Script
Delet Script is an ancient code used by various... less than legal groups in Skelna.
Special Properties:
Delet script is written with magical means, either directly cast from the writer's mind onto a piece of parchment or written in enchanted ink with an enchanted quill made with an Emura feather. If the script is cast as a spell, then the writer can choose who is able to read the true message during the casting. If a pre-enchanted ink is used, then the only people who will be able to read the message will be those intended by the original enchanter and the writer. Those who are not intended to read the message will see the text as something totally normal related to the situation it's being read in. For example, if an order for illegal goods written in Delet script is presented at a gate checkpoint, then the guard reading the order will see legal goods on the trade order listing instead of the illegal ones. Gangs and other ne'er-do-wells use Delet script liberally when smuggling illegal goods into the city and when taking orders from high profile clients who wish to hide their involvement in illicit activities. Recorded usage of Delet script has been around since before Melra and the other floating islands were torn from the earth. Ancient tomes reference a traveling bard named Delet who could create a writing that would change form based on the reader. Delet would use her magical writing to entertain patrons at taverns during her travels in an attempt to make money. It's said that one evening Delet was ambushed by a group of bandits who particularly hated bards. Delet offered the bandits knowledge of a "writing style that would make even the most studious Mage furl their brows in confusion", and in exchange they let her go on her way, deciding that a bard who would give a tool like that to people like them must not be so bad.

Geographical Distribution
Delet script is most typically found in areas with high law enforcement presence, but unscrupulous groups all across Melra make use of it.
