Disaster / Destruction
A massive hurricane struck the town of Stormwatch, tearing through the mountainside town with relentless force. Winds shattered homes, sweeping away entire districts. As for Stormwatch Bastion, Baron Cyril Portier’s army of over three thousand was thoroughly annihilated, as his fortress crumbled under the storm’s wrath, its towers collapsing, its soldiers scattered or lost to the wind. What remains of Stormwatch is little more than ruin and despair.
A cataclysmic hurricane has engulfed Stormwatch, laying waste to both the town and the fortress of Stormwatch Bastion. The storm struck with no warning, its howling winds and torrential rains tearing through homes, streets, and defenses alike. Survivors describe the air itself turning red with dust and debris as the gale ripped through the town with merciless force. As for the Keep, the devastation was absolute. Baron Cyril Portier, who had amassed an army of levies and mercenaries - reaching over three thousand strong—was utterly obliterated. The fortress walls collapsed, its great towers reduced to rubble. The assembled troops stood no chance against the sheer fury of the winds, many hurled screaming into the sky, never to be seen again, and most of the stronghold and town are simply gone, erased as if they had never existed. In the wake of the devastation, whispers spread like wildfire—many claim the storm was no natural disaster but the work of the Marked. Fear grips the survivors, and voices begin to rise, calling for vengeance. Such event might represent the first warning of a new age that might come, one in which a formal crusade and inquisition against the marked shall be born.
