Scope
The motivation behind building Mayvis
The world of Mayvis is being built for multiple series of novels that involve the basic aspects of many of the stories I was invested in as a child but with my own twists and more realistic and mature themes and plots.
The goal of the project
Creating for hopefully multiple novels. I want my audience to feel immersed and a desire to be part of the world, something that Harry Potter did well for me as a child. However The Umbrella Academy and Buffy The Vampire Slayer and the spin off Angel: The Series also have the sense of longing to join, even though overall a happy ending or even a kind of happy ending isn't guaranteed and realistically you'd probably die a painful death. Basically, I want the audience to feel inspired to create and build upon their interpretations of the stories.
Mayvis's Unique Selling point
What draws me into the world is the combination of elements from middle grade/young adult as well as high fantasy.
