Vreelked
Also known as the Eternal Shore, Vreelked is the home base of an upcoming group of pirates.
Geography
Vreelked is located on the bottom side of the northeastern edge of the North Vaten Sea, south of Akuzoe and just north of the Divided Front.
Ecosystem
Vreelked is a tropical island, with a rocky northern shore. A craterous lake lies at its center with a forest of trees surrounding it.
Climate
The island rests in the North Vaten Sea, in a tropical climate. It is close to the Divided Front, the area where the warm are from the north and the cold air from the south mingle and create intense storms, and thus rainstorms hitting the island is quite a common occurrence.
Fauna & Flora
The island is sparsely populated with baboons and giant chameleons on land and has an extremely high shark population in the water shallows. These creatures have a unique enchantment upon them, where they cannot be harmed by any of people who practice Titan Exhalation, and are compelled to hinder and torment them.
History
For most of history, Vreelked was utilized as an unnamed island prison for a cyclops known as Eboy, or The Butcher. Eboy was on of the Nine Goliaths, generals of the Titans who served Chronu during the Titan Rebellion. Eboy's acts against the gods had been deemed so vile that death was too lenient a punishment for him, so they had imprisoned him on the island with only the local fauna as company and granted him immortality. However, they enchanted the creatures of the island to be utterly immune to the Goliath, so any attempt to harm them would simply cause them to regrow and multiply. With no ability to eat, unable to escape due to the shark infested waters, and the island enchanted to be forgotten of all maps, Eboy spent 2,000 years tormented at the hands of mischievous baboons. However, a teleportation mishap caused Beftkanos, one of the pirates of the Lost Eternity to arrive on the island. Taking pity on the giant, who had been reduced to a wretched state, Beftkanos helped them escape, breaking the spell on the island. After reuniting with the rest of the crew, the pirates took up residency on the island, freeing a large amount of slaves from the Father Dagon Trading company and working to create a small village on the island. Renaming the island Vreelkred (The Eternal Shore), the pirates have begun operating out of it has their main base.
