Aeryk Fellraven (a.k.a. Valor)
Aeryk hails from an alternate timeline Arthurian England of the past, a kingdom called Aetheria, where magic is real and embedded in daily life. He is a member of an elite order of Knights Templar dedicated to justice and protecting the people of the realm. When a powerful evil began rising to prominence, he and six other knights were sent to different timelines to gather information, resources, and allies.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Aeryk has been undergoing intense martial training since the age of seven. Though not physically massive, his physique is toned and athletic. This is maintained through a rigorous daily exercise regimen and strict plant-based diet.
Facial Features
Aeryk has patrician features - high cheekbones and an aquiline nose. This is marred only by a scar that extends across his brow and onto his left cheek, a souvenir from a confrontation with the dark knight Blood Falcon.
Special abilities
Aeryk is physically strong and resilient far beyond average human capacity, and is capable of flight.
Aeryk possesses the ability to manipulate, harness, and redirect solar radiation (heliokinesis).
Apparel & Accessories
Aeryk enters battle clad in the blue steel plate armor of the Aetherian knights. His helm is adorned with sweeping wing motifs, identifying him as a Knight of the Swan. His armor is heavily enchanted and can automatically form around him with a command word when not being worn.
Though he has many weapons at his disposal, he favors the combination of his longsword, Terpsichore , and his small shield, Urania .
Aeryk is able to summon his steed, Heathcliffe, to his side using an enchanted broach he wears on his scarf. He also uses this broach to commune with his fellow knights.

Personal history
Oracles in Aetheria have been warning that a dire prophecy will soon be fulfilled, bringing a great evil into the kingdom. Banished from the realm millennia ago, little else is known about this entity save for the fact that it calls itself 'Vanguard'. Much of the original records detailing the devastation it wrought and the rituals necessary to fight it have been lost.
Aeryk was the second of seven knights of his order selected to take part in a highly secretive mission at the behest of Queen Isolde Calaedan. The regiment was to be scattered through time and space as emissaries, seeking knowledge, weapons, and allies to aid the kingdom. The High Sorceror Margrave oversaw the ritual, and each of the seven was sent to a different time and place. They are still able to communicate with each other, though at times their connections are tenuous.
