Bank of Darven
The Bank of Darven is one of the most famous banks in Hisberia. It is often used by individuals and organisations as an alternative to the bigger Deruvian banks because of its location along the Royal Trail.
In Canour of 2997, the party was hired by Marlo Putney of the Black Tongue to rob a mysterious valuable suit of armour from deep within the vaults of the bank. Through meticulous planning and plenty of hijinks that left 3 or 4 people dead, Amerigo Gustav emerged from the other end wearing the suit of armour. However, he soon contracted a mysterious illness that left him out of commission for over a year.
Architecture
The Bank is constructed out of mud brick with a terracotta facade. The roof slates are the traditional Hisberian style of red ceramic mosaic tiles. It stands above a labyrinthine system of caverns, mazes, and traps designed to protect the vaults of its most prestigious customers.
History
The Bank of Darven was founded in 2941 in the city of Aron, Hisberia, by Darven Bilziver I. His son, Darven Bilziver II, took over as president in 2990. In Canour of 2997, the bank was raided by unkown adventurers, leading to a minor economic crisis in the region as investors didn't know who attacked or how they got away. One man was hanged for the robbery, but his accomplices were never discovered.
