Drowned Dock investigation

After being falsely arrested the group quickly cleared up the circumstances and were asked to look into the attack from the last night. despite the accusations, they agreed to help and ended up finding and killing the remaining cultists.

The group woke up imprisoned, having been knocked out with a concoction of herbs. they discovered they had caused a panic with their display of magic and were arrested during the night. the community had already begun spreading rumours and was not satisfied with just imprisonment and many were calling for execution, the group found out that the mob was lead by Erinder Drim and were relatively easily able to convince him that they had done nothing wrong and that the rumours were started by Gren Malek. They were then released and agreed to investigate the attack and after finding a map with a code pointing to a set of ruins, they also agreed to travel there and try their best to stop any further attacks. once they arrived they ambushed the two cultists guarding the perimeter and tried to take the leader in alive but were disappointed to find out he was wearing a band of loyalty and was unable to be taken alive. they then found some clues pointing to another location further north of them and decided to spend the night in the ruins before heading back to drowned dock to report their findings and ensure they didn't miss anything in town before heading to the next location on the map.
