Dmitrei Wolken
Dmitrei is the son of a noble of the clan Wolken. He was fostered by Margrave Konrad at Schloss Rabenwald, where he served as a squire, and was eventually knighted. He then returned to manage his family's estate, and remained there until the tumultuous events of the past year. While the Plague and the Totentanz raged through the countryside, and the Margrave began to lose control of his possessions, a chronicler came to his ancestral castle. What the chronicler told him is not something Dmitrei shares, but it was important enough to get him to leave his estate and begin intensive studies. He cut his hair short, and ultimately, made his way to the city of Rotz auf den Wunsch - one of the few remaining islets of stability in all of Markwald. Here, he hoped to enter the service of Landgrave Detlev, who was looking for servitors trained in the military arts, and to continue his studies. As it turned out, in Rotz, he met a group of travelers who may offer knowledge and support to help Dmitrei learn about his family's past.
Dmitri is a physically powerful young man with blond hair, blue eyes, and a square jawline. He sports a short beard and mustache, which he regularly trims.
